its been a long weekend, very emotional, very troubled, very happy and very sad... its like everything is mixed up...

this is the first time i got it, a phase i hope it never will happen... but since it has already happened, i just got to live with it, there's nothing much i can do at this stage... maybe it served as a reminder, a wake up call from my slack routine... All things work for the good for those who love Him...

i endured... for the longest time... not that i hated crowds but its really too much... guess that i'm the kind that like small private gatherings... not too crowded, at least there's some space to move about and some fresh air to breathe... never attended any countdowns, New Year or Christmas... thought i kinda missed out on the fun but now i know i would rather not join in the "fun"... well, maybe my definition of "fun" defers from most people...

haha, i guess most of you would be blur by the time you read until here, or maybe no one bothers to read in the first place... i don't know... met up with my friend for like an hour on sat b4 Sy Rogers service, (friend, if you are reading this, i'm sorry that our meeting was so short but at least some insights were exchanged right?)... she said one of her strenght is na de qi fang de xia... well, i wish i could be like that too... but usually when i na qi lai jiu hen nan fang xia le...

God speaks to people in the strangest of places... in the toilet, on the quiet street, in a crowd... He told me to fang xia once in the toilet, i refused... the consequences of disobedience will push you away from Him... today in the crowd, i had no where to run, to hide but to listen to Him... He said let it go... then i know i had to... indeed, He is my one and only source, nothing can take His place... God is gracious and merciful...

they say good is the enemy of the best... but how do you whether its the good or the best? what if you thought its just the good but it happened to be the best... what if you thought is the best is just only the good?

wednesday

went back to hall after staying a few days at home... this is like the longest time i stayed at home consecutively... haha... when i reached my level, saw that a new occupant has shifted into mandy's room... hall office very efficient, one just shifted out, the new one shifts in... was about kaypoh and pop over when i saw a familiar face coming out under the table --- ricky... thats esther's bf... so i know my new neighbour... knew both of them since year 1 when we were in the committee for UOC, thats Union Orientation Camp... its like so long ago...

930 went for bridge practice... shall not call it training cuz every session is filled with fun and laughter... hee... at 11, junhong, zhenni and adrian left the tv lounge to do some stuff... junhong came back with a slice of mixed fruit cake with a candle on it... i was *huh??*... cuz he asked me on sunday what i wanted, in ordered to prevent kenna sabotage, i told him i want a fruit cake without cream... haha... i got suspicious cuz the cake is cold... and he doesn't have a fridge... after i blow off the candle... a second cake came it... i was even more *huh??* then... welll, the 2nd cake also fulfilled my criteria... it was a mango cake... so this year, i actually have 3 cakes... if you take the slice of mixed fruit cake into consideration... thanks guyz...

after bridge, was suppose to resume my chit chat session with my friend, well seems like everywhere is occupied... no choice can't talk so decided to talk online instead... then i went back to my room, saw kim in esther's room talking so i joined in... stayed there for a hour or so... hmmm... kim told esther about what happened in the room... bad move i would say...

oh... later i did continue my chit chat with my friend, seems to become a routine... haha... the luxery of a single room...

monday's shopping trip

i bought something for myself on monday... a 24" piglet... it huge and its pink... i even took a photo of it... (can use it as zhu1 tou2 if people refused to pay money.. hint hint... december liao time to pay money...)

anyway, while i was at PS, i saw robin... he's volunteering... he told me his duty is to wrap presents and today is his last day of volunteering... he mentioned about his results... i would it kinda good... i wished i have such results when i was in year 1... nevermind its over... this reminds me that my results will be out soon...

a chinese bible

i've gotta blog this...

when i wake up juz now, i saw my neighbour mandy packing her stuff... she's shifting to hall 8... actually she vacated her room for a very long time... before the exams as a matter of fact... she said she saw some unclean things in the room... well... since this room i have chosen it on my own accord, i pray that God won't let me see any of such things... especially when i'm such an owl... sleeping only in the wee hours of the morning...

ok, that's the introduction, the main i wanna say is that, i saw her discarding a bible... ok, its not inside the dustbin but next to it...then i ask her if i could take it since its so new... kinda wasted to throw away... she said fine... i'm not a junk collector but in my opinion, i'll never throw my bible away even its old and torn, not to say that bible is kinda new still... she told me she has gotta a new bible as the one which she threw (and i picked up) has only the NT...

well, actually i'm kinda glad too cuz this means there's hope for her... really pray that she'll come for Christmas... a little about the bible... yes, it contains the New Testament only, but its a bilingual bible... so anyone who wants it... tell me ok?

haha... me in a Christmas-ity (if there's such a word) mood already...

i've been given a second chance...

never felt so helpless in my life...

was conjuring reasons & excuses to miss the meetup with my Prof...

but i can't be lawless...

was totally dependent on GOD...

tried doing some last minute readings and hands-on...

realised the software has expired...

no choice but to go to bed at 3:00am...

woke up by a call from mum at 10:20am...

meeting Prof at 11:30am...

without the call, i'm sure i'll surely oversleep...

thank you LORD...

the feeling of meeting my Prof with no stuff done is horrible...

but the LORD is merciful...

i escaped this time and i won't do it again...

i won't abuse GOD's grace...

another day has passed

had a stayover at my friend's place on tuesday night... most of the time we were eating... haha... actually terence wanted to bring us to eat fish head bee hoon at holland v then while in cold storage we decided that we should buy some stuff and cook... this is the first time i'm 'cooking' in someone else house...

we had spaghetti... first time cook stuff a big pot... then we use the campbell chunky for the sauce... yummy... my idea... hee... also make a pot of fishballs with meat balls with crabstick, then we also have roast chicken from cold storage... for dessert we had green bean soup, watermelon and grapfruit... of course we had chips... for breakfast, we have hard boiled eggs... realised everything we cooked just requires putting the food into water and boil... haha...

we had a movie marathon... watched 4 shows... left the place at about 7... slept all the way back to hall... the 4 sleeping pigs... haha... luckily the double-deck 174 was quite empty upstairs... reminds me of the good o' JC days...

i revamped my blog... yeah... a sense of accomplishment i would say... ok, i didn't do the layout from scratch but i personalised it... also i can extract the essence from different blogskin makers... right now the only thing i lack is the comments part... haven't figure that out...

change is the only constant in life... felt that the layout kinda reflects my mood and situation... the previous layout was greyish and that lasted for 3 months since september after the thank you dinner... and now the new layout is pink... haha... maybe i'll change it again for Christmas...

its going to be 5... its time to do QT... oh yah, my friend once asked if QT meant Quality Time... i agree that quality should come before quantity... haven't been fiddling with my guitar... oops... hee... (long, are the lessons resumed?) gotta go... long day ahead...
